I graduated
from the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork Inc. in 1998 as a certified massage therapist. I was a faculty member
of the school from 2002 to 2007. I am currently teaching massage therapy at the Minnesota School of Business/Globe University,
while pursuing an A.A.S. degree as a medical assistant. I hope to bring Reiki into a Western medical setting. I have been
teaching Reiki workshops since 2005. To deepen my healing work, I became a Certified Hypnotherapist in March 2006.
I started my Reiki journey in February 2003 and completed my Usui Reiki Master certification in December 2004. In spring 2004, I received training in a form of emotional release therapy. Through
this training, I discovered my life's purpose as being able to assist others to heal themselves by helping them to reconnect
with ancient universal energy that surrounds us and is within us. This therapy helps to heal current as well as ancient issues.
In September of 2004, I traveled to Glastonbury, England, for a Level I and II Reiki training which added additional
Japanese techniques and rituals to my work. I received my attunement within Stonehenge. This was an event I'll never forget!
I named my Reiki business "Stone Circle Reiki" from my experience at Stonehenge. I then traveled through Scotland for nine
days and sent Reiki healing to many sites throughout Scotland.
In September 2005, I traveled to Paris, France,
and completed a second master certification with the International Center for Reiki Training, adding additional Tibetan techniques
to those learned the previous year. I then returned to England and Scotland on a women's healing pilgrimage, visiting many
ancient sacred sites for healing and transformation for all our planet. In 2006, I took Reiki Crystal Therapy through Infinite Light Healing Center at the International Reiki Conference.
I completed my Rainbow Reiki Practitioner certification in February 2007. In 2008, I completed my Karuna master training with the Skye Institute. Eric Linemer, founder, also taught a Crystal Meridian
level one workshop while visiting Minnesota.
My intent is to continue teaching Reiki in the U.S. and to begin
teaching in England and Scotland. I hope you enjoy your journey as much as I have!
